Festival season is in full flow and Talent Management modelling staff can’t wait to get out there and let their hair down, come rain or shine. To make sure you look great whatever the weather, our fashion experts have come up with a list of some of the items we’d recommend for your perfect 2013 kit. Read on for essential festival fashions that will get you noticed and serve you well this summer…

Mac/poncho

A colourful or see-through mac is still a massive favourite with Talent Management staff and models but if you fancy a new way to stay dry why not try a poncho for something a bit different?

Wellies

Do we need to mention wellies? Didn’t think so! If you’re buying new this year go patterned and/or bright – from animal print to neons.

Shades

Another obvious item. This season’s best styles are geometric, bold, colourful and/or mirrored. Cat eye, round and aviator styles are all on trend, so choose to suit your face shape.

Playsuits

They’re still big news, and playsuits make a great alternative to the festival tradition of denim shorts. Wear yours with a cute vest or crop top and add tights or leggings if you need a warmer option.

Maxi dress

Now’s your chance to go full-on girly with a super feminine maxi-dress. We love these life savers as they’re flattering for every body shape and you can easily dress them up or down with accessories and a shrug or jacket. Again, add leggings or tights underneath if there’s a nip in the air – or go the whole 9 yards with beaded/chunky bracelets and flowers in your hair on super-summery days.

Accessories

Flowers are the perfect festival accessory and florals of all kinds – from floral printed clothing, to flower shaped jewellery – are Talent Management’s favourite must-have festival fashion item for 2013. Other on-trend accessories include beads and Aztec inspired necklaces, headbands and chunky bracelets.
