BINTM’s Imogen Talks Rivals, Being Evicted & Dreams Of Becoming A Model

Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model’s Imogen Leaver may have been dubbed a “plain Jane” by judge Julien McDonald, but, having been spotted at Britain’s Next Top Model Live, the squared-jawed brunette went on to become one of the final four in this year’s biggest modelling competition.

Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model’s Imogen Leaver may have been dubbed a “plain Jane” by judge Julien McDonald, but, having been spotted at Britain’s Next Top Model Live, the square-jawed brunette went on to become one of the final four in this year’s biggest modelling competition.

So, we at Models Direct went on a mission to find out more about this 20 year old evictee, and whether aspirations to become a model are still in her career plan.

First though, we want to know who the Southend-beauty’s biggest rival in the competition was? “Right from the start at Boot camp Juste was everyone’s biggest rival, the way she looked, stood, everything – she just looked like a model already!” she told Company magazine.

So how did Imogen feel when she didn’t make it through to the final two? “Leaving the show was gutting but it’s not the end, I’ve come out more confident and I’ll definitely carry on – I’d love a career like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!” she said.

And does she now feel relieved that the pressures of the modelling competition are over? Handbag.com asked the model just that: “Yes and no! Yes because I can now see the agencies and start a career in modelling. And no because I was sad that’s its all over, it has been such an incredible experience!”

So it seems Imogen is indeed still pursuing her dream of becoming a model. “If anything being in the show has made me want to do it more. A lot of people think modelling is an easy life but it’s not as easy as it looks. It takes a lot of hard work, you need to push yourself a lot and be really focussed on what you want to achieve,” she told Holy Moly.

With determination like that – which Models Direct thinks is the key to becoming a successful model – we’re sure we’ll be seeing more shots of this English rose in no time.
