As the mixed race modelling competition ‘Mix-d: Face’ gets ready to embark on its second year, we thought we’d take a look at last year’s winner Graham Scaife.

As the mixed race modelling competition ‘Mix-d: Face’ gets ready to embark on its second year, we thought we’d take a look at last year’s winner Graham Scaife.

Scaife, the stunning male model who was crowned the official Mix-d: Face of 2010, has since gone on to bag some impressive modelling jobs – perhaps the most impressive being that he modelled Christopher Shannon’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection at London Fashion Week’s closing show.

Pictured above on the Christopher Shannon catwalk, teen model Scaife looks ever the professional as he works the unusual comb accessories beautifully!

And to think that under a year ago, 6 foot tall Scaife was an undiscovered talent at just 15 years old when he attended the Mix-d: Face scouting day at Harvey Nichols in Manchester.

Since Scaife became the Mix-d: Face representative for 2010, which included a modelling contract with a well known modelling agency, he has generated a lot of positive debate around diversity in the modelling industry and we predict he’ll be a face to watch out for in the future.

Bradley Lincoln, founder of Mix-d:, told The Manchester Evening News that he is hoping for a similar success story with this year’s competition.
