With the increase in the latest trends in the Art industry one can easily find a combination of a model and an actress, but the combination of a singer and model is slightly rarer. That’s why when Talent Management heard about mother and daughter models and country singers The Jardines we couldn’t wait to find out more…
The Jardines are a mother and daughter country band from Canada. The band is made up of beautiful daughter (Ajaye) and a graceful mother (Cherelle). Ajaye is not only a famous singer in the band but is also an emerging model and recently took part in Strike A Pose.
Strike A Pose is a local modelling competition in Canada where models get a chance to show their talents as they undergo through different obstacles. Ajaye managed to defeat 10 contestants and walked into the top 3 contestants proudly. She then defeated her co-contestant Mayra feuntes (3rd contestant) and was in the top two. She was loved by the judges and gathered a huge sea of fame and fans from Strike A Pose. This is a huge victory for an emerging model. She has also participated in YYC Fashion week and is hoping to be featured in some photo shoots of well known brands soon. Cherelle, mother of Ajaye, supports her a lot and according to Ajaye she is the biggest source of her motivation.
Strike A Pose Results:
The Jardines are gathering success and fame in the field of music due to the melodious voices of Ajaye and Cherelle, and they have sung many popular songs. They have successfully released two albums and third album is under process. The third album will be a definite blast as it is going to be a video album and Ajaye will rock in it.
The Jardines had a successful interview with Tickets move – in the interview Ajaye and Cherelle told them what The Jardines really mean to them. They explained how The Jardines were made and how Ajaye showed her interest in becoming a singer. For Ajaye the decision was not tough as she was born and bred to a singer mom. While being a part of her mother’s concerts, Ajaye started up her singing career and that is why when Cherelle asked Ajaye if she wants to be the part of The Jardines, Ajaye could not resist. Cherelle and Ajaye also mentioned how they step by step prepare every song and how excited they are about their third album. During the interview The Jardines performed a few songs and their favorite song as well “Someone’s stolen Tuesday”.
