Models Direct is loving You! Lingerie’s pretty, sexy and comfortable new maternity collection. The label showcased it at New York’s Lingerie Fashion Week and now expecting and new mums need never be limited to dowdy undies again.

The You! Lingerie show featured heavily pregnant models in gorgeous, brightly coloured and feminine pieces and we loved what we saw. The quirky pieces come in gorgeous colours and designs, from tangerine lace over purple microfibre, to lemon yellows, bright blues and even leopard skin prints.

You! Lingerie founder Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger told reporters:

“We’re super-excited! It means a lot. We’re a young company, so to have this platform to show the world what we do, and show our beautiful pieces, it’s phenomenal.

“We have worked really hard, so we are very proud to flaunt our gorgeous maternity and nursing products on the catwalk, and Lingerie Fashion Week is an impeccable avenue to do that.”

There’s no denying that the You! collection got plenty of attention from onlookers, who appeared visibly impressed by the designs. All of the pregnant models also seemed delighted with what they were wearing, which in each case was accompanied by a pair of extraordinarily high platform heels in shocking pink.

Okebie-Eichelberger explained her motivation for the collection as being a desire to give new mums, and mums-to-be an option that felt fresh and attractive:

“No expecting or breastfeeding mom ever has to wear frumpy lingerie or break the bank to feel and look sexy. Beautiful maternity lingerie no longer needs to be a dream, in fact, we demand for it to be a necessity. That was always the goal. This is where we come in!”
