The London 2012 Olympics may only be around the corner, but they haven’t started just yet and already rumours about the Closing Ceremony have begun to circle on the net, not to mention in the Talent Management offices.

Yesterday, reports emerged that some of Britain’s top models, both new faces and long-timers, will be involved as the games draw to a close on August 12.

Names including the ‘original supermodels’ Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Stella Tennant are reportedly expected to appear alongside younger models Lily Donaldson and Jourdan Dunn. The models are said to be  showcasing designs from coveted British designers including Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood at an event that will see more than 4,100 performers involved.

“Organisers wanted the best of British – and that’s exactly what they’ve got. The models were all keen to take part because it will be such a memorable event.

“British style is known around the world for innovation and creativity, so it’s right that it will be celebrated as part of the show – it will look amazing,” a source told the Mirror.

Kim Gavin – the uber-talented lady who’s responsible for the set design of Take That’s latest arena tour – is also said to be involved.

That being said, the team at Talent Management isn’t getting too excited just yet, with the Olympics Committee yet to confirm the reports. But one thing we can say is that if the rumours are true, the London Olympics Closing Ceremony is going to be big, especially with Gavin involved!
