With Megan Fox’s character Mikaela having being dropped from the third Transformers, Vogue cover girl Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has stepped in.

Playing Carly, Sam’s new love interest from the original 1984 animated series, the model was chosen as the new leading lady of Transformers: Dark of the Moon despite having zero acting experience.

Apparently the film’s director Michael Bay had narrowed it to three final candidates: fellow model Brooklyn Decker, actress Sarah Wright, and Huntington-Whiteley being the front-runner.

And, of course, the fact that Bay has worked with Huntington-Whiteley before in various Victoria’s Secret commercials couldn’t have hurt!

However, playing alongside Shia LaBeouf and following on from the amazing Miss Fox, you’d expect the British-born model to be a little more nervous by now.

The English rose told the Huffington Post: “I’m so excited now. The nerves are kind of passing and I’m excited to see the movie. It’s almost finished now and it looks amazing, so I’m very excited to get it out.”

But what we all want to know at Talent Management is what makes her more nervous – modelling or acting? “It depends what you’re wearing!” she revealed.
