Models Rock Kiss Makeup In Anthony Vaccarello

Models posing as musicians is a trend that really seems to be spreading and one that Talent Management is loving. We adored it when Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford and Eva Herzigova channelled Duran Duran on the Harpers Bazaar UK cover, and even more so when Kate Moss posed as David Bowie’s flamboyant alter ego Ziggy Stardust for Vogue Paris.

And now, having already checked out Justin Bieber’s modelling efforts in V Magazine’s music issue, we came across ‘Dressed to Kill’; a very cool editorial in which models Pauline Van Der Cruysse, Cate Underwood, Nikole Luna and Amanda Ware mimic the rock band notorious for their demonic face paint, Kiss.

But, instead of leather comic book character costumes, the quartet were styled by Tom Van Dorpe in Anthony Vaccarello’s latest racy cut-away dresses. We love how photographer Benjamin Lennox has captured this shot; the juxtaposition of these pretty model faces with chic hair and dresses against some seriously scary make-up really makes an impact.
