Rolling with the trend that’s seeing fashion designers snub professional models in preference of ‘real’ models, Paris sources have told WWD that Italian fashion house Brioni, the suit maker of choice for Hollywood’s crème de la crème, will be using ‘real’ male models to showcase its latest menswear line.

According to the publication, Brioni has opted for a still-life presentation rather than a catwalk show for 2012’s first Milan Menswear Fashion Week, with live models and select personalities within the worlds of fashion, art and business set to showcase the label’s Autumn/Winter 2012-13 designs.

The team at Models Direct are all for mixing things up at Milan Menswear Fashion Week, which began January 14, with the final shows from some of the world’s biggest fashion houses rounding up the week today.
