Well, having already released details of their Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) collection, this spring, the Swedish retailer is also releasing the ‘Knot Violence’ collection.

Incorporating one of the strongest symbols of peace, ‘the knotted gun’, H&M’s new range of T-shirts and accessories for both boys and girls will help to support the Non Violence Project Foundation.

So where did the inspiration come from? The artist behind the knotted gun imagery is Swedish Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd. He created the symbol in response to the death of John Lennon, and since then, it has become an international symbol of non-violence.

H&M’s new t-shirts, many of which are made from organic cotton, have slogans and graphics to spread the non-violent message.

Our models’ favourite is this cropped white tee with a pink and black print (see above).
