The Clothes Show Live Line-Up Gets A Downgrade: Amy Childs, Gemma Collins & Peter Andre To Join Genuine Fashionistas

As much as we love bubbly reality TV stars Amy Childs, Gemma Collins and Peter Andre, when we heard news that they were attending the Clothes Show Live, we couldn’t help but think they were giving the star-studded line-up a bit of a downgrade.

As much as we love bubbly reality TV stars Amy Childs, Gemma Collins and Peter Andre, when we heard news that they were attending the Clothes Show Live, we couldn’t help but think they were giving the star-studded line-up a bit of a downgrade.

Just last month, Talent Management blogged about how excited we were that model, presenter and DJ Zara Martin, stylist and former Britain’s Next Top Model judge Grace Woodward and British fashion designer Henry Holland were involved in the event.

But, loveable as they are, weren’t not so sure this trio of so-called fashion designers are a worthy addition to an otherwise uber-stylish British line-up.

Nevertheless, whether we like it or not, Amy Childs and Gemma Collins will both be presenting their collections at the event, while TV presenter and singer Peter Andre will also be attending the show to showcase his menswear capsule collection on the Suzuki Fashion Theatre catwalk.

To be fair though, having launched her first collection in 2011, Amy’s fashion line ‘Amy Childs’ Collection’ has gone from strength to strength and can often be spotted on celebrities, even if they are D-list!

Her latest A/W 2012 collection, which includes lots of typical ‘Amy’ looks; lace, body-con etc, will be available to buy from her stand at the show, as will products from her growing beauty empire.

Gemma Collins will also be selling her ‘Gemma Collins’ Collection’ which she was inspired to launch after struggling to find flattering and fashionable clothing in anything bigger than a size 14.

Gemma will also be taking part in a Q&A session in the Style Studio as well as doing product signings and making appearances on their respective stands.

On joining the Clothes Show Live line up, Amy commented: “I’m really excited to be appearing at Clothes Show Live this year – it’s one of my favourite days out and I’ll be on my stand throughout the five days selling my latest range. I can’t wait to see the girls’ wearing my collection on the BINTM Catwalk.”

Gemma added: “I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks of my new plus-size collection at the show this year. I’ll be on my stand and am looking forward to meeting all my fans. This is my first time at Clothes Show Live and I know it’s going to be a lot of fun! My collection is stunning and I have ensured that it is super flattering for girls from sizes 14 -24.”

Peter Andre makes his Clothes Show Live debut and will be presenting his menswear collection on the Suzuki Fashion Theatre catwalk on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th December.

He will choose key pieces from his new collection, which includes t-shirts and Italian-made shirts. The whole collection will be available to buy on his stand in the Style Boutique area.

Peter commented: “I’m excited to be coming to Clothes Show Live this year! I can’t wait to see my collection on the catwalk; it will be a personal highlight for me to see the range I’ve worked so hard on appear on such a prestigious stage. It will also be great to meet my fans while I’m there.”

Clothes Show Live Show Producer Maryam Hamizadeh added: “We’re thrilled to announce that Amy, Gemma and Peter will be at Clothes Show Live this year. They’re all so well-loved by the public and they bring that extra glamour and sparkle to the show.”

Glamour and sparkle yes…but style? No.
