Chris Colfer is best known for his acting role as Kurt Hummel in Channel 4’s Glee, but talent and model agency Talent Management has just noticed him modelling for men’s fashion website Mr Porter and we like what we see!

The young star demonstrates how to be a model with undeniable panache. He appears in a single-breasted tuxedo by Lanvin, matched with a white cotton Givenchy shirt and a bow tie from Drake – and he looks amazing. But growing up Colfer didn’t want to be a model. His sights were firmly fixed on acting and writing.

“For most of my adolescence I was in my bedroom writing or watching things I shouldn’t be watching on TV, like Nip/Tuck [another Mr Murphy show],” he told the Daily Mail. “And I was obsessed with superheroes. I had this thing where I wanted to be rescued. The other kids wanted to be Superman, but I thought Lois Lane kind of had the best deal.”

While working as an actor on Glee, Golden Globe winner Colfer found time to establish himself as a writer. He wrote, produced and starred in his own movie ‘Struck By Lightening’ among other projects. “And I’ve written another movie,” he said. “This time definitely R-rated, about a 1930s asylum. Oh, and my agent asked me to adapt this children’s book into a feature for Disney. I wrote that one in a weekend. Yeah – a 90-page screenplay in two days. It was insane.”

It certainly sounds like our favourite new male model has been busy!
