Talent Management loves a good magazine anniversary issue – they always seem to push their own boundaries and surprise us.

It happened when Vogue Paris turned 90 and featured a topless Lara Stone on the cover, and now it’s happening with W Korea, who, after 7 years on the shelves, has finally featured a black model – Anais Mali – on one of its 7 anniversary issue covers.

Shot by Jang Hyun Hong, Mali is joined by top models Crystal Renn, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Hyoni Kang, Julia Nobis, Maryna Linchuk and Valerija Kelava, who are all rocking S/S12’s hottest pastels splayed on Louis Vuitton outfits, nails and even hair, courtesy of stylist Karina Givargisoff.

Pulling off a seriously orange bob, there’s no doubt the stunning Anais Mali not only steals the show, but has embodied a milestone as the magazine’s first ever African-American cover model.

Being an inclusive and diverse modelling agency, Talent Management is happy to see W Korea take this move – just a shame it took 7 years, no matter how ‘wonderful’ they may have been!
