Here at one of the UK’s leading modelling agencies, Models Direct, we can’t help but notice the incredible amount of gossip that has been generated by Kelly Rowland since she became a judge on X Factor UK.

Over the last few months the American singer has given us plenty to read about. She has locked horns with N-Dubz’ Tulisa Contostavlos, over accusations of ‘bullying’ surrounding Misha B, and argued with Louis Walsh after his blunt ‘say it as you see it’ comments about contestant Frankie Cocozza – maybe understandably – when he memorably ranted: “that was really bad karaoke and I don’t know how you’re still here! You’re not a rock star, you’ll never be a rock star and the only big thing about you is your hair.”

She has been struck down with a mystery and ‘extremely rare’ illness that took her out of the show back in October, leaving viewers and her acts wondering whether or not she would return; and now in a new twist she has jetted off to Paris leaving her three remaining acts without their mentor during the build up to this week’s quarter finals.

Amelia Lily, Misha B and Janet Devlin are the singer’s remaining talents and they, particularly Lily and Devlin, are said to be less than happy over her latest disappearance which has come at a crucial time. As fellow mentors Gary Barlow, Louis and Tulisa focus on preparing their acts for the quarter finals Kelly is shooting a new video in the romantic capital of France with co-star, actor Lance Gross.

The girls and guys at Models Direct cannot agree on whether or not Rowland is neglecting her acts by leaving for the shoot.

Do you think it’s fair that she spends time out of what must be a busy schedule to shoot her video, or is she being unprofessional and unfair to her acts? Maybe she has so much faith in them that she thinks they can cope without her? What do you think?
