Baby Models In Adverts That Stole Our Hearts

There is no doubt that adverts featuring babies are extremely popular with audiences all over the world; motivating modelling agencies to take baby modelling applications seriously and to ensure that they have a diverse range of baby looks on their books for when clients request them.

Some companies seem able to capture the natural magic of babies in their advertising campaigns in a way that is irresistible to the viewer. There is no doubt that adverts featuring babies are extremely popular with audiences all over the world; motivating modelling agencies to take baby modelling applications seriously and to ensure that they have a diverse range of baby looks on their books for when clients request them.

Here at Models Direct we have become quite preoccupied with some of the gorgeous baby models seen on our TV sets recently, and after much debate we have finally managed to come up with a favourite top three list of companies that regularly feature baby models in their advertising campaigns.

Of course Evian has to come top of the list for memorable baby advertising. Who can forget the 96 babies in their ‘Live Young’ campaign, who roller skated into our hearts to the sounds of Sugarhill Gang’s ‘Rapper’s Delight’? This is possibly the most watched baby advert ever with over 46.5 million Youtube viewings, and their previous ‘underwater ballet’ advert was also unforgettable.

Second on our list, the nappy brand Huggies has also produced some of the world’s favourite baby adverts ever. From the cute images of newborn babies to be seen in their New Zealand based ‘introduce your newborn’ campaign, to the visually stunning 3D styled advert for ‘Little Movers’ nappies – where everything but their gorgeous baby model appears to stand still while he causes havoc at a party – Huggies provides a regular baby model fix that simply has to come in our top three!

Another famous brand that use baby models and definitely deserve a mention here include Pampers; who donate additional funding to UNICEF to provide tetanus vaccinations for vulnerable families every time a pampers product is purchased.

Director of Fundraising at UNICEF UK , Julie Weston, says: “It is fantastic that our partnership with Pampers has helped Myanmar to eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus and this success takes us one step closer to our goal of global elimination. Around the world, however, the lives of millions of mums and their babies are still at risk from the disease. This is wrong and I urge all UK mums to help Pampers and UNICEF put this right by supporting our campaign to raise money for these life-saving vaccines.”
