The team at Models Direct are big fans of model Chrissy Teigen – and even bigger fans of her flawless Thai-Norwegian skin. So we went hunting for some beauty tips from this American beauty, and came across StyleBistro, where the model has been quizzed on all her makeup and skincare secrets…

Teigen told StyleBistro that with her skincare regime less is more: “I think it’s important for people to know that you don’t really have to do too much with everything. I think I just have genetically really good skin.”

But it seems there are a few beauty treatments the model does like to indulge in: “I’m all about facials and extractions, that’s the most I’ll do. I steer clear of peels and everything, I think just keep it simple. I don’t over wash my face, my skin is really dry normally so I don’t wash it too much.”

So what about her make-up recommendations? “I use Dior AirFlash Spray Foundation. You are supposed to spray it directly on your face, but you should not do that or you’ll end up with nude eyebrows and lips! If you squirt a little of it on a wet sponge and then just pat it on your skin, the result is glowing and beautiful skin. I even get remarks from my boyfriend on how my skin looks amazing. It’s light and it stays, especially in New York where it is so humid right now. It just gives me a really beautiful, flawless and smooth complexion. It’s so worth it.”

Continuing, the model reveals that her hair receives special attention every day: “I am actually so hair challenged! I can do my own makeup just fine, but I cannot do my hair which is why I’m so lucky that I’m in New York and I can literally go downstairs. For only $15 I can get a blowout almost every day—I’m not the kind of person who spends a ton of money. I just wash it, put some Moroccan oil in my hair, go downstairs with it wet, and 10-20 minutes later they make it beautiful. That’s none of my doing!

“I get deep conditioning treatments because all these blow outs are just terrible for your hair. I think my ends are terrible and I think we all just have a good way of hiding things.”
