As the weather has decidedly heated up across the UK this week, we thought it was about time to review the major swimwear trends emerging this spring/summer.

If you don’t have the funds to splurge on designer wear, then be assured that the highstreet is offering a huge selection of on-trend swimwear this season. From feminine strapless pieces, to scuba-inspired full bodies, we’re spoilt for choice. But with a little help from our top trend reviewers at Talent Management, we’re sure you’ll look great on the beach no matter what your style.

Women’s swimwear trends

Whether you prefer the classic bikini, a halter neck swimsuit, or a feminine strapless one-piece, this spring/summer is all about vibrant colour and patterns of paradise, making the exciting fantasy of a tropical escape a reality.

Simple block colours of hot pink and acid green make a bold statement, as do Hawaiian, floral, and paisley prints. The team at Talent Management loves this blue-green paisley set from H&M, and at that price, you can’t go wrong!

For all our sporty models, scuba-inspired bodies are also big news this season and channel a chic yet a sporty feel. And, if you’re full of elegance and style and prefer the ‘less is more’ look, then there are plenty of kimonos and wrap cover-ups about on the highstreet too.

Men’s swimwear trends

Not to forget all our male model readers – guys, this summer men’s swimwear has a modern athletic feel found in beach classics such as shorts and trunks.

Our guys’ favourites are a pair of dark blue shorts with red and white stripes at the waist from H&M.

Longer, classic shorts are also in abundance on the highstreet, and are bang on trend in block colours like pink and dark blue, or in tropical floral prints, painted stripes, or rich and plaid patterns.
