This season, Pure London, one of the UK’s leading trade fashion events, put on a record-breaking 27 runway shows across three live stages!

At the event, which saw 2 of Talent Management’s models working as live mannequins for Dutch fashion company Charismah and British milliners Snoxells, there was an array of looks for S/S13, based on expert trend insights from WGSN.

As well as free-to-attend shows, buyers enjoyed a number of commercial scenes showcasing key collections from the show floor.

New this season was the inaugural Gallery Stage, which featured an action-packed programme of runway shows, keynote speeches, case studies, live performances and trend presentations.

On the Grand Hall Stage, the twice daily Womenswear Catwalk welcomed the latest from Bourne, Derhy, YaYa, Sarah Pacini, Angels Never Die, Ewa I Walla, Banana Blue and Lauren Vidal.

Stunning eveningwear and occasionwear also received a focus in the new Boutique scene, as Catwalk Collections, Collectible, Lexus, Vivid Flair, Monlea and Montique took to the stage.

Meanwhile in the National Hall, there was inspiration for teens in the Young Fashion Catwalk. Here Angeleye, Glamorous, Forever Unique, Kat Von D Collection and Iron Fist displayed in the morning and afternoon sessions, followed by a showcase of fresh talent in Pure London’s Launch at Spirit platform that included emerging labels Ghost of Trouble, Alice Takes A Trip, Do U Speak Green, Maner Evening, Mo Boutique, Left&Right Clothing, Sarah Clough, Gemma Carver and Gold Dust Dalston.

In a daily lunchtime show, named the Young Fashion Half Scene Catwalk, visitors were also presented with an energetic mix of collections from Verysimple, Hybrid, Miss Patina, Garcia, Influence, Party 21 and The Pretty Dress Company.

The event even showcased an exciting array of accessories from across the channel in the French Boulevard, with emerging labels in ‘Launch Accessories’; plus there was a Pure Body section, home to directional and higher-end names in lingerie, swimwear, shapewear, sleepwear and loungewear.

Three daily catwalks marked many Pure London firsts, as Footwear and Accessories received their own dedicated show. Brands there included Fraas, Chanii B, Peak A Boo and Claudia Canova. The Pure Body Catwalk also shone a spotlight on Made by Niki, Velda Lauder Corsetiere, Moeva, Dote and Ultimo.

British heritage designer Sam Ubhi was also there celebrating 25 years of success with a ‘Jewel’ catwalk and drinks reception, followed by a sparkling performance from the Glitterbanditz.

With what sounds like more drinks receptions, live performances and networking opportunities than ever, this season’s Pure London sounds like it was one of the most exciting to date and the team at the agency here are glad 2 of our models got to experience it on a job!
