Models Direct love Victoria Beckham’s new Autumn/Winter collection. The singer-turned-fashion designer presented her latest VB offerings to press and buyers this week and they look set to be as popular as last season’s ‘The Victoria’ range.

An understandably exhausted looking Victoria Beckham talked through her new designs to those who were lucky enough to be invited to the small catwalk show, which was held at the New York Public Library on Sunday. She said of the collection: “It’s what I like to wear, it’s the other side to my wardrobe”. View video below…

The new line consists of mini-shift dresses featuring playful prints and cute collars – through to more structured military style, knee-length, v-neck dresses with cleverly placed horizontal stripes. Biker inspired boots – reported to have been influenced by husband David Beckham – added an uncharacteristically masculine edge to some of the catwalk ensembles. This was certainly new look for the 37-year-old designer, which we assume were included more with customers in mind than as something that VB would be seen wearing herself. However, Victoria was seen modelling one of the latest print dresses – which has become a signature style of hers – when she went out for dinner in New York last night. She matched the black and burgundy shift dress with a burgundy clutch and nude platform heels.

The clutch was a clever addition to her outfit but when it comes to bags it’s all about the new ‘Harper’. The Harper bag – which is pictured above – was designed by Victoria Beckham with the help of esteemed handbag designer Katie Hillier and named after the latest Beckham baby. Models and model booking agents here are having trouble deciding which is cuter between the bag and its namesake.

Vogue seems to agree, saying of the design: “The sweetest [VB bag] was most certainly her latest style, a fold-over satchel with two pockets, named after her daughter.” Again, you will have to wait until later in the year if you want to be seen with it, that is of course if you have around £2,000, which is what this item is likely to cost.
