One of Models Direct’s favourite teen models, Lindsey Wixson, has just bagged the Fall/Winter 2011 Purple Fashion Magazine cover – which, if you know anything about fashion magazines, you’ll know is a pretty monumental achievement for the 17-year-old.

Past cover models of Purple Fashion Magazine include Laetitia Casta, Lindsay Lohan and Chloe Sevigny -but Wixson’s quirky look has made this issue a firm favourite in the modelling agencies‘ offices.

The model, known for her gorgeously unique gap toothed pout and youthful looks, was shot by photography legend Terry Richardson in a layered Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter 2011 dress teamed up with masculine black boots.

We love Wixson’s statuesque post and cheeky smile – and if Wixson’s big grin isn’t enough of a reason to buy a copy, the issue also features fashion portraits of eleven talented woman and a book by Katja Rahlwes.
