A feature in the May issue of Glamour España entitled ‘My Most Beautiful Flaw’ caught the attention of the models here at Talent Management.

As natural beauty advocates, we were happy to see so-called flaws referred to as a positive.

The article featured five models with physical characteristics that are usually viewed as negatives –  Jennie Runk, a plus size model, Verena Badofszky, whose has different coloured eyes, Diandra Forrest, a black albino model, Amanda Lopes, who has a bump in her nose, and Sabine, a model who keeps her natural afro hair.

What we find interesting is that in all 5 cases flaws have positively boosted their careers having distinguished them from the classic model look.

So, whether it a protuberant nose or a curvy body, those with natural and unconventionally beautiful features are fast becoming the industry’s models of the moment. We praise these women, and the magazine for featuring them, for promoting diverse beauty and uniqueness.
