As many of our models here will know – keeping fit while working through a busy modelling schedule can be challenging. So if the big shots of the modelling world ever offer up fitness advice, we’re all ears.

For Jessica Pérez, the latest ultra toned model to reveal her keep-fit secrets, it seems variation is the key to keeping her drive high. Oh, and a little added motivation from her personal trainer, Justin Gelband, doesn’t hurt of course!

When it comes to cardio, running is her favourite, varying 3 mile runs with weights, a steeper incline, or a focus on speed.

Pérez is also a huge fan of Yoga, which is a great for travelling models. “The cool thing about yoga is that it’s like the universal exercise, even if you don’t speak the language. You could go to France or Germany and just copy what the person is doing next to you,” she said.

Whether it’s running, Yoga or even Pilates, Pérez’s best tip has to be to exercise daily. “Even if it’s something small, I do it every day. I think it gets you more ‘in the moment’ and it just becomes part of your life.

“It doesn’t have to be a fancy program. Exercise should be like brushing your teeth,” she added.
