With all the talk around Emma Watson’s new short and chic pixie cut, we at Talent Management thought we’d celebrate our love for the most hyped hairstyle of the moment and bring you our top 3 short-haired models

1. Agyness Deyn

She’s gone from a Gothic dark bob to a Sinead O’Connor-style crop, but we all love and recognise Miss Deyn for her iconic platinum blonde pixie cut. We think the porcelain-skin cover girl, who’s known for being courageous with her hair, pulls off the ‘British cool’ gamine look perfectly. Her cuts always embody youth, rebellion, and confidence, and accentuate her feminine facial features, showing us all that the short look can be just as seductive and girly as longer hair.

2. Cecilia Mendez

Dark-haired Argentine top model Mendez is loved across the fashion industry for an androgynous look that’s spurred by her short locks and bowl-cut fringe. However, spotted at the launch party for ‘The World Of Gloria Vanderbilt’ at NYC’s Ralph Lauren Women’s Boutique earlier this month with fellow model Anastasia Khozzisova, Mendez was snapped rocking a slightly longer fringe, which has really softened and feminised her look. Whether she cuts her fringe short and structured or tousled and soft, we love Mendez’ array of short-hair looks.

3. Hannelore Knuts

She’s been long, medium and now short. 33-year-old Belgian model Knut, a serial Vogue cover girl, demands attention on the catwalk. And we think her short cut could have something to do with it. Appearing in the latest issue of Twin Magazine, Knuts is confidence personified as she’s shot in New York City’s streets in Comme des Garçons. Styled by Alastair McKimm, the androgynous look of the shoot lends itself to her punk locks. We at Talent Management can’t wait to see more shots of this edgy model’s cut used to its full advantage.
