Everyone at Talent Management has been wondering who Carine Roitfeld will choose to cover her last ever Vogue Paris issue.

Well, now we know. No, it’s not Vogue Paris favourites Daria Werbowy or Natasha Poly. We were surprised to hear that a relatively new face has bagged the job; Dutch model Saskia de Brauw.

If you’ve not heard of her, we’ll forgive you, she’s only just begun to break onto the big stage modelling scene.

When Roitfeld said “[de Brauw] has short hair, no one knows her” she wasn’t kidding.

Apparently, De Brauw and Roitfeld were introduced by Riccardo Tisci backstage at a Givenchy show last season.

“Of course, it is a fantastic honour that Carine Roitfeld decided to use me for the cover, and even more so as it is her final issue,” she told The Cut.

When asked about the cover’s theme, she revealed that it will be “inspired by a movie, but which movie it is will have to be a surprise”.

We love to see new faces in the modelling world and think Roitfeld is making a fantastic choice going with the unexpected.
