Awards<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A couple of nights ago, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the\u00a02012 CFDA Fashion Awards\u00a0and commemorated the organization\u2019s 50<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary&#8230;and Talent Management has all the best bits right here!<\/p>\n<p>Highlights from the night saw Womenswear Designer of the Year honours go to\u00a0Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for The Row,\u00a0which was presented by\u00a0Jessica Chastain, and Menswear Designer of the Year go to\u00a0Billy Reid, presented by\u00a0Matt Bomer, while Reed Krakoff\u00a0took home the Accessory Designer of the Year Award, presented by\u00a0Jessica Par\u00e9.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n\u201cThis year\u2019s awards were particularly special,\u201d said CFDA President\u00a0Diane von Furstenberg. \u201cWe honoured the best talent working in American fashion today and celebrated CFDA\u2019s 50th Anniversary and the impact of our family of designers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA CFDA Fashion Award is one of the most coveted awards in our industry,\u201d added CFDA CEO\u00a0Steven Kolb. \u201cThis annual event is the one night we come together to celebrate our own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As well as Kolb and von Furstenberg, some of the most well known names in the fashion, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modelsdirect.com\/become-a-model\" target=\"_blank\">modelling<\/a> and media worlds were in attendance, including top models Crystal Renn, Arizona Muse, Candice Swanepoel, Dree Hemingway and Liu Wen, designers Zac Posen, Thom Browne
