Plus-sized Model Candice Huffine Covers S Moda Naked<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Not that we don\u2019t love a good naked plus-size model<\/a> \u2013 seeing a diverse array of body types in fashion is obviously something Talent Management advocates – but when we see a yet another set of killer naked curves on a fashion magazine cover, we can\u2019t help but wonder why. Forgive us for thinking this, but aren\u2019t fashion models<\/a> paid to showcase clothes?!<\/p>\n

Candice Huffine is the latest in a long line of plus-size models to flaunt her naked curves for a glossy, in this case, for Spain’s S Moda magazine.

\nAccompanied by the rather largely printed and ironically belittling tagline \u2018Reales Y Rotundas\u2019 \u2013 \u2018Real and Round\u2019 to you and me \u2013 Huffine is posing half way to the foetal position in nothing more than heels and a diamant\u00e9 choker.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, inside, the 50s-themed editorial spread, shot by Damon Baker, features an array of equally revealing pinup-type shots in which Huffine predominantly wears lingerie and accessories.<\/p>\n

The decidedly sex-injected shoot is then accompanied by an article which explores why the classic curvy feminine body type has been exchanged with a skinny so-called ideal.<\/p>\n

While the article sounds intriguing, the editorial is plain clich\u00e9. Never mind the fact that this is somewhat of a cop-out from the shoot\u2019s stylist – sorry Francesca Rinciari \u2013 but isn\u2019t the fact that plus-size models are being directly associated with sexual availability just a little bit wrong, not to mention overdone?<\/p>\n

The team and models here at Talent Management, and especially the curvaceous ones amongst us, would like to see the 27-year-old do what a fashion model does best, model the latest clothing trends.<\/p>\n
