You may have already seen British model Agyness Deyn on the big screen \u2013 the blonde siren played the role of\u00a0a 1930s courtesan in Mean to Me, Aphrodite in Clash of the Titans, and a rather risqu\u00e9 role as a stripper in Danish crime film Pusher \u2013 but now her acting talents<\/a> will be tested even further having just bagged yet another film role!<\/p>\n

The model known for her iconic pixie cut has been booked to star in a film adaptation of the 1932 Scottish novel Sunset Song, by Lewis Grassic Gibbon.

\nDirected by Terence Davies, Deyn will play the film’s female protagonist, a resilient heroine named Chris Guthrie, and will be acting alongside Peter Mullan, who caught the attention of Talent Management earlier in the year with his role in War Horse.<\/p>\n

“When I read the script I fell completely in love with the character and the story, I’m so honoured and excited to be working with Terence, he’s such an incredible director,” Deyn told British Vogue. “I can’t wait to get started and just hope that I can do Chris Guthrie justice!”<\/p>\n
