Bloggers at Models Direct have just seen pictures of the latest in a run of celebrities to pose nude while pregnant. Brazilian ‘Victoria’s Secret’ model<\/a>, Alessandra Ambrosio appears in the images – which are advertising Vivara jewellery – completely naked, just one month before her due date. Of course she looks her usual stunning self.<\/p>\n

At eight months pregnant many mums to be will lack confidence and feel self-conscious about their changing body, but not Alessandra who insists that she has never felt more confident: \u201cA nude photo-shoot was good, because pregnancy makes me much more confident. I’m proud of my body to be generating a life. I wasn’t ashamed to do a nude shoot for two of my favourite photographers. I’m happy to have one of the most important moments of my life recorded by them.\u201d
\n<\/p>\n

We love the attitude of this 31-year-old supermodel, though of course many women – when heavily pregnant with their second<\/em> child – would not share such amazing confidence. Would you consider modelling<\/a> nude while eight months pregnant?<\/p>\n

Alessandra made it to No. 5 on the list of the world’s best paid models last year, with a salary of $5 million, and she intends to get back to work soon, with post-baby bookings already lined up. She told reporters at the Daily Mail: \u201cI already have jobs planned for afterwards so hopefully will be back in shape. I told my booker and my manager; ‘I know I have a job to do, so just book the jobs and hopefully it\u2019ll be fine.’<\/p>\n

\u201cI only have a few more jobs to do before I have the baby – all editorial, no more catwalk now – and then I hope to be back in London for the opening of the Victoria\u2019s Secret store in July. I should definitely be back for the next Victoria\u2019s Secret<\/a> show – I have quite a while until then.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alessandra obviously predicts that she will be back to her former shape within weeks of her son’s birth since he is due mid June. Meanwhile, though admittedly a little enviously, Models Direct sincerely wishes her all the best. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
