The entire team at Talent Management<\/a> first noticed transgender model Andrej Pejic at Paris Fashion Week in January last year when he famously walked both the men’s and women’s shows for Jean-Paul Gaultier.<\/p>\n

Ever since, we\u2019ve all been encapsulated by his astonishingly androgynous looks as he\u2019s gone on to model risqu\u00e9 cover shoots \u2013 like the May 2011 Dossier Journal where he\u2019s pictured taking off his shirt with his long hair in curlers – model push-up bras for Hema<\/a> and has even been ranked 98th in FHM\u2019s World\u2019s Sexiest Women List<\/a>.

\nThere\u2019s no question about it \u2013 ever since Pejic wore that wedding dress for Gaultier\u2019s Paris show, he\u2019s undoubtedly become one of the key protagonists in the rising \u2018gender trend\u2019.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not surprising then that the boundary-pushing enfant terrible of French fashion has been missing the razor-sharp cheekbones and he-she charms of Pejic.<\/p>\n

Last month, Gaultier, who\u2019s known for Gaultier using unconventional models<\/a> for his work, revealed Pejic has been signed for the designer’s new male fragrance campaign for Kokorico.<\/p>\n

But we\u2019ve been wondering, judging by Pejic\u2019s increasingly controversial shoots and Gaultier ever-surprising creative mind, just what can we expect from the model\u2019s role in this campaign?<\/p>\n

Luckily for us, the designer gave us a taste of what\u2019s to come when he spoke to Fashionista<\/a> at a New York gala last weekend: \u201cWhat I should say is that he has a role\u2014an important role because it\u2019s like a threesome, three people\u2014he is one of the three.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a blatant long-term fan, it seems he also couldn\u2019t resist gushing over the androgynous model: \u201cHe is quite beautiful and incredible. I think he has something, like, everybody can recognize his beauty. It must be male, but not straight male, it can be women even find him beautiful and it can be gay men, but gay men maybe they don\u2019t find this.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut in reality, he\u2019s like, what can we say, like a modern woman boy of today. He\u2019s not like the old type of let\u2019s say, maybe like a drag queen or a transvestite, not at all. He\u2019s Andrej. He is very beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

The designer even complemented Pejic\u2019s personality: \u201cBeautiful light and he\u2019s a very nice person and he\u2019s truly great. I like him and I wish him the best success. He\u2019s starting very well. It\u2019s like everybody cannot, you cannot not be sensitive to his beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n
