In order to provide food for her family, she was walking 8 miles to the market each way to sell bananas. If she didn\u2019t sell the bananas, her family went hungry. She was struggling and the women of her village stepped in to help.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the women taught her how to make soap from the local plants in a workshop. She packaged the homemade liquid soap in recycled plastic bottles and sold it at the market for more than the bananas. She is now providing for her family and passing along her good fortune by teaching other women how to make soap. Sharing knowledge is empowering for everyone!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important to have a dream no matter what your circumstances are. The women I met on my journey reminded me how important it is to never give up and always believe in ourselves.
