Shields, for instance, began her career as a model at just 11 months old. Later, in early 1980, 14-year-old Shields became the youngest fashion model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue. Today, she\u2019s better-known as an actor, famous for films including Pretty Baby and The Blue Lagoon, as well as TV shows such as Suddenly Susan, That 70&#8217;s Show and Lipstick Jungle.<\/p>\n<p>It seems this model-to-actor transition is not only seen in women, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modelsdirect.com\/become-a-model\/men\/\" target=\"_blank\">in men<\/a> too.
