The 42-year-old pop star appears in their &#8216;Sports issue&#8217; \u2013 edition 76 \u2013 in a series of outfits with a boxing theme, taken by talented fashion photographer Mario Testino.<\/p>\n<p>V Magazine says: \u201cWe wanted to pay homage to these incredible icons past and present with our own Fashion Olympics. The <a title=\"talents\" href=\"http:\/\/www.talentmanagement.com\/talent\/\" target=\"_blank\">talents<\/a> who grace these pages face challenges, obstacles, victory, and defeat in an open forum almost every day. Who knows better about such an endeavor than our coverstar, Jennifer Lopez? Over the course of her 20-year career, she has both triumphed and been knocked down, but always gotten back up again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This seems to be a fair comment. &#8216;Jenny from the block&#8217; has enjoyed incredible success, not only as singer but also an <a title=\"actress\" href=\"http:\/\/www.talentmanagement.com\/talent-register\/index\/type\/actor\/\" target=\"_blank\">actress<\/a>, <a title=\"dancer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.talentmanagement.com\/talent-register\/index\/type\/dancer\/\" target=\"_blank\">dancer<\/a> and businesswoman. She has won 80 awards and been nominated for over 170 since her career began with TV comedy show <em>In Living Colour<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re not going to hit the target or the bull\u2019s-eye every time. That\u2019s part of it,\u201d Lopez tells V Mag. \u201cAt the end of the day, I made those choices. I\u2019ve been in the business now, I don\u2019t want to say how many years. You have amazing moments of recognition and <a title=\"success\" href=\"http:\/\/www.modelsdirect.com\/ourmodelssay-select.html\" target=\"_blank\">success<\/a>. Despite his, and several other comments and stories, J-Lo&#8217;s stylist insisted that no malfunction had occurred.<\/p>\n<p>Either way it may be best for people not to raise issues like these around the feisty star: \u201cI know how to fight!\u201d She says. \u201cI can take a lot of punches and still keep going.
