Model mum Cindy Crawford<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Over the last month Models Direct have told you of two ‘mini-me’ daughter’s to have hit the headlines recently with their first modelling<\/a> images. 12-year-old Selah Marley looked every bit as confident as her superstar singer mum Lauryn Hill in the catalogue style shot that we shared with readers just 3 weeks back, and model Meg Mathews’ daughter Anais Gallagher also shone in a gorgeous black and white image taken by Mario Testino.<\/p>\n

The latest model daughter to have come to our attention this January is Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber. At just 10 years old Kaia has just become the new face of Young Versace, a children’s line aimed at 0-12 year olds. Images of the pretty child model<\/a> – wearing a flared, pleated, mini skirt and t-shirt, matched with a three-quarter length cropped, biker style leather jacket – have been released and are earning her praise. Though it must be said that the girls and guys in the Models Direct office are left divided on the socks and sandals combo!<\/p>\n

Donatella Versace is quoted as having said of the young model<\/a>: \u201cLike her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother\u2019s footsteps!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, supermodel mum Cindy – who was with her daughter throughout the shoot \u2013 described it as a ‘fantastic experience’. She said in a press release: \u201cI’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

It seems that Kaia may have had a second shoot just one day after her first images for Young Versace were released. She was seen in full make-up and an 80s inspired clothing – including gold leggings and pink legwarmers – in Malibu last week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
