Model booking<\/a> agents at Models Direct have just seen test shots of Selah Marley online and general opinion in the offices is that this pretty 12 year-old has what it takes to become the next big thing on the modelling<\/a> scene. <\/p>\n

As the daughter of Fugees singer Lauryn Hill and footballer Rohan Marley (Bob Marley\u2019s son), Selah certainly has fame in her genes, despite the fact that her mother has taken much of her life as a parent away from the spotlight, presumably to protect her children from it.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to raise her away from the Hollywood nanny scene,” She said to Teen Vogue earlier in the year. “I didn’t want my children to be a part of that.”<\/p>\n

Now it seems that both Lauryn and her daughter are ready to explore Selah\u2019s potential to become a teen model<\/a> in the not so distant future, since she has already walked as a child model<\/a> for Macy\u2019s and appeared in Teen Vogue. Selah hasn\u2019t ruled out the possibility of taking the more musical route of her mother and grandfather either:<\/p>\n

“That’s on my list,” she told Teen Vogue in an interview. “People tell me I have to follow in the footsteps of my mom and grandfather, but it’s a lot of pressure\u2014I can’t really slip up and mess up the name.” Her apparent love of Justin Bieber may not give her the most credible basis to work from right now, though musical potential and a head for fashion are clearly not her only talents.<\/p>\n

“I do piano, violin, guitar, basketball, gymnastics, ballet\u2014” she told Teen Vogue, before her mother interrupted to say that her report cards, \u201cdidn’t fall below an A\u201d, adding, \u201cYou don’t have to say she mentioned that. Say I mentioned that.” <\/p>\n
