Models Direct teen model Khade<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

When M and M Direct came to Talent Management<\/a>\u2019s dedicated modeling arm Models Direct<\/a>, their model requirements were specific to say the least.<\/p>\n

The online and catalogue fashion retailer was on the look out for a model exactly 152cm tall to showcase their extensive boys clothing range \u2013 and 14-year-old Khade was the perfect fit.<\/p>\n

Described by M and M Direct as \u201cchilled and very confident\u201d, Khade has taken to modelling like a duck to water. \u201cI think it\u2019s fun. I like them taking pictures of me. I like smiling and being happy,\u201d he told us.<\/p>\n

Khade\u2019s Mother, Natalie, added: \u201cPeople kept telling me how photogenic he was. You always think your own children are good looking. I sort of knew that he was just more than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

COVER MODEL<\/strong><\/p>\n

And indeed he was – since Khade\u2019s first assignment with the retailer back in August 2010, the young teen has earned a total of \u00a31,470 across an impressive seven modelling shoots, one of which involved modelling for the front cover of 2010\u2019s Christmas catalogue.<\/p>\n

Liz Rouse, photography coordinator at MandM Direct, said: \u201cKhade is like an absolute dream boat. He\u2019s fantastic to work with. He\u2019s just really chilled and very sweet, but he\u2019s coming out of himself a bit now. You can see his character coming through in the photos. He\u2019s quite cheeky.\u201d<\/p>\n

Natalie, who modelled herself when she was younger, couldn\u2019t be prouder of her son: \u201cI\u2019m very proud. They told me that he could go far \u2013 when you know [your children] are good at something it\u2019s endearing. It\u2019s nice to hear, it confirms what you think.\u201d<\/p>\n

IN THE MONEY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aside from the excitement and experience that comes with modelling, the main benefit in every young teen\u2019s thoughts is, of course, the money.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen M&M came along I told Khade it was a good opportunity. Obviously, he\u2019s 14, his mind is on money. I said it will be a good way to make money and a good way to save towards a car. As a boy, he will have massive insurance costs,\u201d Natalie told us.<\/p>\n

With M and M Direct already revealing plans to keep Khade on for the whole of this year, the model is well on his way to that dream car.<\/p>\n
