We\u2019ve just heard that Nicole Richie\u2019s past in modelling<\/a>, having already been the face of Bongo Jeans and Jimmy Choo ad campaigns, could be reignited if rumours are to be believed.<\/p>\n

According to recent reports, the TV personality turned fashion designer is in talks to be the face of Halston \u2013 the brand not only known for its irresistible cocktail dresses and glamorous draped gowns, but also for the controversy surrounding Sarah Jessica Parker and head designer Marios Schwab leaving the fashion house earlier this year.<\/p>\n

With a label that seems very up in the air, we\u2019re interested to see what move Halston makes next, and whether Nicole Richie makes for a good comeback strategy.<\/p>\n

A source told<\/a> Showbiz Spy: \u201cThey wanted someone with Nicole\u2019s fashion credentials. She is the perfect ambassador for Halston and even wore one of their gowns to the launch of her own fashion brand last week.\u201d<\/p>\n

While we think Richie would photograph beautifully in Halston, we can\u2019t help but think she\u2019d be more suited designing for the brand that was at its height in the 70s. After all, Richie is known for her love of 70s fashion and vintage pieces.<\/p>\n
