If you\u2019re an avid reader of the Talent Management Blog<\/a>, you\u2019ll know by now that the agency is pro diversity on the modelling scene. So, when we heard about new label Jane & Marilyn<\/a> using \u2018real models<\/a>\u2019 in their first photo shoot, it was literally music to our ears.<\/p>\n

And when Jane & Marilyn say real, they mean real. The models chosen for the 1950s inspired brand were not only realistically proportioned, but also full time career women and mothers.<\/p>\n

From a chartered surveyor to a tree surgeon, these part-time models were chosen to promote the curve flattering designs that provide \u2018grown up glamour for real women\u2019.<\/p>\n

One of Jane & Marilyn\u2019s models, a golfer and mother of two, said: \u201cI loved doing the photoshoot. Being a mum is one of the most demanding roles and I don\u2019t often get time to myself.\u00a0The photoshoot not only made me look positively regal but it allowed me to see just how accessible the designs are \u2013 fabulous!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another model, a tree surgeon, said: \u201cI had a great time \u2013 thank you so much!\u00a0 It was a wonderful experience and I really did feel very feminine.\u00a0 In fact I felt like a real \u2018femme fatale!\u2019\u00a0My boys are amazed \u2013 Mark says I look like a doll, Charlie says I look cool \u2013 praise indeed from my 12 and 15 year olds!\u201d<\/p>\n

This is another great example how fashion\u2019s demand for real and relatable models is increasing and also how much fun part-time modelling<\/a> can be, whether you\u2019re a busy mother or a full-time career women.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
