Back in July this year, we revealed<\/a> that H&M\u2019s autumn 2011 designer collaboration is the legendary fashion brand Versace.<\/p>\n

While the exclusive range won\u2019t be available until 17 November this year, we now know a little more about what this collection has in store for the men.<\/p>\n

Versace\u2019s much awaited menswear collection for H&M is full of the pieces that have made the house of Versace legendary. Dominated by colour, print and cut, the brand\u2019s creative director Donatella Versace has gone back to the archives to bring some high-end classics to the highstreet.<\/p>\n

“The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can’t wait to see how H&M\u2019s wide audience will make these pieces their own,” said Donatella Versace.<\/p>\n

With a touch of extravagant pattern and bright hues, this menswear range is centred on chic and sharp tailoring. Suit jackets and trousers come in classic black or shocking pink, while a black tuxedo jacket has metallic tip trims on its pockets, and shirts have metallic wing-tips on the collars. Versace\u2019s palm and optical prints are used on t-shirts, as well as on cashmere sweaters, while print is also used on velvet bombers, jeans, and even swimming trunks.<\/p>\n

\u201cVersace\u2019s collection for H&M is a moment in fashion. It is full of strong pieces that stand out, with colours, prints and cuts that are clean and precise,\u201d said Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe men\u2019s collection is very sophisticated. When I think about Versace I think of iconic items. With this collection for H&M we\u2019ve got the essence of Versace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Our male models<\/a> can also look forward to a few key leather pieces, as a quilted leather jacket trimmed with gold studs in the Versace classical Greek pattern has quickly become a favourite here at Talent Management. The men are also treated to a selection of staple accessories including embellished beanies and patterned caps, embellished or print scarves, hi-top sneakers and dress shoes.<\/p>\n

All collections will be available in around 300 stores worldwide, as well as on-line, from November 17.
