At the time I was studying at college in London and a load of mates said I should enter \u2013 I never thought I\u2019d make it!&#8221; she told Company magazine.<\/p>\n<p>And indeed, the Latvian <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modelsdirect.com\/become-a-model\" target=\"_blank\">model<\/a> did do well, having made it as one of the final four girls. However, when it came down to picking the final two, Anastasija didn\u2019t make the cut, and was criticised for her \u2018one-dimensional\u2019 modelling efforts. Despite not winning, she still has a great outlook on modelling competitions: &#8220;My biggest advice for anyone wanting to enter the show would be \u2013 be confident. We all look different but the judges want someone that is different so as long as you can be positive about the way you look in your look you\u2019ll do well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although naturally a blonde bombshell, Anastasija spent the majority of the competition with candy floss pink hair, which the model embraced during her makeover. \u201cMy favourite shot of the competition was my first week pink haired and I loved it,\u201d she revealed.
