These girls have been dominating editorials and shining out on catwalks with their geek-chic, edgy looks.<\/p>\n<p>But why the sudden trend? Are we sick of so-called perfection? Liz Hambleton, Beauty Director at Grazia, thinks so. \u201cI think we&#8217;re maxed out on perfection and looking for something a little more real at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA gappy tooth, tons of freckles, huge geek chic glasses all give someone so much more personality than a glossy blow-out and a fake tan. I&#8217;m more interested in looking at the Lara Stones and Karen Elsons of this world than Cheryl Cole,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Harriet Quick, fashion features director at Vogue, agreed: &#8220;I think that odd beauties really show off the current clothes well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the moment fashion is rethinking classics and is focused on making real clothes. These girls make you look twice and see fashion in a surprising new light.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.talentmanagement.com\" target=\"_blank\">Talent Management<\/a> couldn\u2019t agree more. Not only do these girls enhance fashion in a new way, but their rising popularity is an inspiration to all those unconventional beauties out there who worryingly aspire to \u2018perfection\u2019.
