Photographer Perou<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As models<\/a>, it\u2019s always good to get to know everyone in the industry, from the designers and stylists, to your fellow models and of course, the photographers. So, as we\u2019ve just had our weekly dose of modelling show Dirty Sexy Things, we thought it was unfair to profile all the models and leave out Perou.<\/p>\n

Aside from being an internationally acclaimed photographer, Dirty Sexy Things’ exhibition curator Perou is a director, farmer and family man.<\/p>\n

And if you\u2019ve been living in a box and haven\u2019t heard Perou\u2019s name before, you might recognise his face. He appeared as a judge on both the UK and US versions of Make Me a Supermodel and has even dabbled in modelling<\/a> himself having featured in Vivienne Westwood\u2019s S\/S 2005 tie campaign and walked for Comme des Gar\u00e7ons, Sonja Nuttall, and Evisu.<\/p>\n

But before all that, Perou began his photography career working for Dazed and Confused\u2019s picture desk and later left the magazine to establish his talent worldwide.<\/p>\n

Today, he is in demand across many fields including editorial, music, fashion, portrait and advertising photography, and his modelling concept-doc Dirty Sexy Things has quickly become a favourite here at Talent Management.<\/p>\n

Digital Spy recently asked the photographer why he thinks people are so fascinated by the world of modelling: \u201cI think by its nature it’s a glamorous industry,\u201d he said. \u201cIt’s the beautiful people. Models are rockstars that don’t make music. And some of them even do make music, certainly one of the boys on our show does. It’s one of those industries like movies and music, it’s an aspirational place that people want to be. People want to make themselves more beautiful and some people already are beautiful. I guess people will be watching this show and thinking, ‘I want to be this person and I want to see what their life is like’.\u201d<\/p>\n
