Ever since Louis Vuitton\u2019s new A\/W11 campaign<\/a> was revealed, 16-year-old Nyasha Matonhodze has become the fresh face on everyone\u2019s lips \u2013 including ours!<\/p>\n

So we thought it was time to delve deeper into this model\u2019s young career, and find out when she first developed an interest in modelling. In a recent interview with New York Magazine, graceful Matonhodze revealed just that: \u201cSince I was 12, I was tall and thin so I would always get the whole \u2018you should be a model\u2019, but I never really developed a serious interest about it until America’s Next Top Model.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeriously, that\u2019s when it all changed for me. Everything I wanted was pretty much based off that show. I went into this career thinking I could be a model, but I never thought I’d actually become one.\u201d<\/p>\n

And now that Matonhodze has bookings coming out of her ears, we want to know how she feels being a successful model: \u201cI find it difficult to see myself and think that I’m a model. I feel blessed and honoured to keep getting that next step in my career. I’ve met amazing people that keep supporting me and pushing me further and further. It’s like a dream, no matter how good I do, it’s still so surreal for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
