Naomi even said the teenager reminded her of herself when she was starting out as a model.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The strict Christian from Bolton said: \u201cNow it&#8217;s a good thing but, back then, out of all my friends I&#8217;ve never been the pretty girl.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow everyone likes it. That&#8217;s what everyone&#8217;s looking for in the modelling industry. It just makes me more confident about myself. I can look in the mirror and like the way I look.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Elaine applied to take part on the show on the suggestion of her modelling agency \u2014 but was stunned to be chosen.\u00a0\u201cI couldn&#8217;t believe it. I was so surprised, I didn&#8217;t think I would get that far.\u201d She said.<\/p>\n<p>She decided to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talentmanagement.com\" rel=\"nofollow\">become a model<\/a> about six months ago, after studying sport at Bolton College and wants to be successful in modelling so she can support her sick mum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople just used to say, you could be a model \u2014 you&#8217;re so tall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never thought of it. After college, my mum wanted me to go to university but I just went for modelling. I love taking pictures, I love doing fashion, catwalks, I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elaine landed a coveted position on &#8216;Team Erin&#8217; on the first show and is hoping to win the coveted first place prize &#8211; becoming the face of MaxFactor! She said of her mentor:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cErin is like a mum. She can be hard on you but so nice too.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love her, she is amazing. She is like my hero.
