If you\u2019re an aspiring model<\/a>, you may like to know that this year, Forbes\u2019 annual list of the world\u2019s top earning models not only included those predictable regulars \u2013 ahem, Gisele \u2013 but also some refreshingly new faces.<\/p>\n

Of course, way ahead of her fellow models, Brazilian bombshell Gisele B\u00fcndchen topped the list for the seventh time! Gisele has transformed herself from supermodel to super-businesswoman and as a result her earnings climbed $20 million over the previous year to an estimated $45 million over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cGisele B\u00fcndchen is clearly in a class by herself, and has been for a number of years,\u201d said Edward Razek, Chief Marketing Officer of Limited Brands. \u201cShe’s an international icon who can also move product–from shampoo to couture.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, if Brazilian goddesses aren\u2019t all that relatable, and let\u2019s face it, they\u2019re not, let us leave you with a little inspiration.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the Calvin Klein campaign and Victoria\u2019s Secret presence, new faces Lara Stone and\u00a0Candice Swanepoel replaced Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes for two highly coveted places rounding off the list.<\/p>\n

The 10 top-earning female models on the planet made a combined $112 million in the 12 months to May – up 30% from last year \u2013 proving that the economic recovery has been rather good to our top models this year!<\/p>\n
