And so, when we heard about our favourite Russian green-eyed model posing nude for Marc Jacobs’ new campaign to fight against skin cancer, we had to give her a mention. After all, there’s nothing quite like a stunning nude model to promote a worthy cause!<\/p>\n

\u201cI was very honoured to be a part of Protect the Skin You\u2019re In campaign, working with photographer Brian Bowen Smith, and joining a long line of iconic figures featured in the past,\u201d Shayk told Modelinia of her involvement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe proceeds from sales of the shirts go to funding research at NYU School of Medicine\u2019s IMCG Group, and has been crucial in the ongoing fight against cancer. What Marc Jacobs and NYU have done is truly amazing, and I was happy to have the opportunity to join them in raising awareness \u2013 even if it meant baring all!\u201d<\/p>\n

Shayk is following in the footsteps of Marisa Miller, <\/strong>Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen, Dita Von Teese, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham, who have all featured naked in the Marc Jacobs \u2018Protect the Skin You\u2019re In\u2019 campaign.<\/p>\n

Shayk\u2019s stunning black and white shot, in which she confidently poses in nothing more than an ankle bracelet, will appear printed on T-shirts, which you\u2019ll be able to buy at Marc Jacobs boutiques.
