Last month, we at Talent Management<\/a> were happy to read about Models of Diversity (MoD) staging a fashion show as part of Style Day, Oxford Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

As a modelling agency<\/a> that works to promote diversity in modelling<\/a>, whether it be shape, size, race, age, or even ability levels, we are huge fans of Models of Diversity; a campaign with a mission to change the face of fashion and modelling.<\/p>\n

And so, in an ongoing bid to fight inequality in the representation of real men and women, MoD’s line at the fashion show, which was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, featured models with disabilities, mature models, models of colour, androgynous models, male models and plus size models.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe British Fashion Council promotes diversity within the fashion industry and encourages organisations that promote a diverse image of beauty. We are delighted that Oxford Fashion Week is partnering with Models of Diversity for their Oxford Style Show & Macmillan Clothes Extravaganza,\u201d said Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council.<\/p>\n

Former model and co-founder of MoD, Angel Sinclair, said: \u201cWe are thrilled to be taking part in Oxford’s focus on fashion and to be raising funds for such an excellent cause. All profits will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.\u201d<\/p>\n
