Models Direct has not been surprised to hear about Ireland Baldwin\u2019s new career as a teen model<\/a><\/p>\n

The 17-year-old has inherited great looks from both parents and recently told People.com that she was inspired by her beautiful mother Kim Basinger:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom’s very happy she can finally give me tips. She’s always there, so she’ll stand in the back and say, \u2018Turn your head this way, or do this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She also revealed that she is inspired by models like Kate Moss and Miranda Kerr. At 6\u20192\u201d her hieght certainly won\u2019t hold her back and she has already been signed by two agencies. She announced the news via Twitter, excitedly tweeting: \u201cOfficially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGmodels! I’m blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ireland has previously come under the spotlight due to public fall-outs with father Alec Baldwin. She said of their relationship: \u201cYou know, he has his own agenda and I have my own. I think he’s very outspoken and he has his opinions, and he’s him and I’m me, and I know he’s done things that he regrets himself and that he’s sorry for, but you know, the past is the past,\u201d adding that these days they \u201ctext and talk on the phone all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

We expect she\u2019ll be a natural in front of the camera. \u201cI’m getting into it. Doing it right.
