London Fashion Week is behind us and writers at Models Direct have had a good look at what appeared on this years catwalks (and the ways it may translate to high street fashions). So, we thought it must be time for a Models Direct review<\/a> of 2013 Fashion Trends!<\/p>\n

If you like to stay ahead of the trends here\u2019s a list of our top ten must-haves:<\/p>\n

Bomber Jackets.<\/strong> An absolute essential for the devoted fashionista’s 2013 wardrobe, bombers will be joining biker jackets as the coolest ways to cover up this year.<\/p>\n

Florals.<\/strong> Models Direct loves this trend. There\u2019s nothing better than embracing your feminine side with some blooming lovely prints – and florals are not just for girls either, designs for guys are there for the picking in major high street stores.<\/p>\n

Brights.<\/strong> After a long, cold winter there\u2019s nothing like lifting your mood by adding some brilliant brights to your wardrobe. If you can\u2019t decide which colour to go for we would suggest that yellow and red should be top of your list.<\/p>\n

Neons.<\/strong>It doesn\u2019t stop at brights! For the really brave, neon shades – like shocking pinks and electric blues – have also been seen all over the catwalks this year. Do it if you dare!<\/p>\n

Asian.<\/strong> Inspiration from the Far East has arrived on our doorstep and it\u2019s very welcome, with gorgeous flowing silks and beautiful prints that are impossible to resist.<\/p>\n

Sheer.<\/strong> Give your wardrobe a sexy edge with 2013’s see-through fabrics.<\/p>\n

Monochrome. <\/strong>Gorgeous graphic designs are a great way to grab attention so express yourself with some bold striped or checked items.<\/p>\n

Iridescence.<\/strong> Shiny, metallic, \u2018oil-slick\u2019 finishes will ensure that you get noticed in 2013 as designers go all futuristic.<\/p>\n

Fabrics.<\/strong> Experiment with alternative fabrics. Leather dresses or lace tops paired with jeans are two great looks.

\nStatement shades.<\/strong> Bright, quirky and, in some cases, down-right crazy shades are perfectly acceptable this spring\/summer, so why not have some fun with your choices? You can go for round, decorated, over-sized, mirrored, coloured or cat-eye, it’s all good!<\/p>\n
