Along with transgender model Lea T, the very feminine looking Andrej Pejic has undoubtedly become one of the key protagonists in the rising \u2018gender trend\u2019 this year.<\/p>\n

Ever since he made his opening appearance as a female model in Gaultier’s spring\/summer 2011 collection back in October last year, followed by an appearance as Gaultier’s ‘bride’ during couture season, he has shot to fame.<\/p>\n

But should this Serbian Australian model be worried about his competition \u2013 the original poster boy for androgyny, Givenchy muse Lea T? Pejic thinks not.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to our professional lives, well she only does womenswear and I think I cover more fields,” he told Vogue.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people in the industry will use us in a very similar way to represent similar ideas and some will want me to be a bit different from her – more androgynous, more boyish or even sex-less rather than womanly. I think professionally I am capable of being very versatile.\u201d<\/p>\n
