Australian fashion model<\/a> Samantha Harris first appeared on the catwalk at just 13. Since then, the now 20-year-old model has excelled in her career \u2013 and last year was no exception. Harris featured prominently during Australian Fashion Week 2010 where she appeared in a record number of shows.<\/p>\n

She also appeared on the cover of Australian Vogue\u2019s 2010 June issue and has just been made David Jones\u2019 ambassador for young women\u2019s fashion.<\/p>\n

So we at Talent Management<\/a> thought we should find out a little more about this rising star. Luckily for us, Australian Vogue just interviewed her, asking how she prepares prep for a big show. \u201cI increase my gym sessions per week, drink lots of water and always get plenty of sleep so my skin is glowing on the day,\u201d she told the magazine.<\/p>\n

Continuing, she explains that calling my mum and my boyfriend is what keeps her sane when modelling on the road. \u201cMum is always a great leveller and I have great confidence in her advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

And when asked whether there\u2019s a model Harris looks up to, of course, she said none other than fellow Australian model Miranda Kerr. \u201cShe has an incredibly diverse career and my dream is to walk in the Victoria Secret show like her. She is also very professional and a really kind and generous person.\u201d<\/p>\n

But with so many accomplishments under her belt, what has been the highlight of her career so far? \u201cWorking for David Jones is definitely a highlight, it is like family.
